EV Space Utilization Monitoring System
PoleVolt™ uses an onboard camera to detect whether a car is currently occupying the space directly in front of the charger. If a parked car is detected in front of the charger for more than 5 minutes without starting a charging session, the charger can respond by displaying a reminder on the onboard screen, showing a red indicator light, or alert the City to take further action such as notifying parking enforcement.
